okay guys so this was the first book i read this year and honestly its a favourite i for one have been eyeing this book for almost a year what with all the hype and i also thought that i wouldn't like it i don't know there is a gut feeling you know that tells me what book to read but still i did read it because of its second installment and i am so thankful that i picked this one up.

the first page grips you there is laia's brother and his sketches being the only hope for a rebellion and then his kidnapping i am not gonna lie guys iread this book in a single sitting you just couldn't put it down it has fantasy,it has many mystical elements it has action and just pretty much everything that a reader desires trust me you won't regret picking this book up also i am not going to lie at a point i thought that laia had some fire breathing ability don't laugh at me the title is "an ember in the ashes" it just seemed fair

honestly though guys you will love this book the characters were amazing the world building was awesome this book is great and you got to read it also happy nnew year !!!!!!!!!!❤💓💓💓💓
